Highland cows are big, hairy, have large horns and are perfect for grazing some of Kent Wildlife Trust reserves. Using grazing animals can be much more effective than using tools and machinery and is of much greater benefit to the wildlife that lives there.
Using cows to manage our reserves helps to reduce our carbon footprint by reducing the amount of fuel and transport needed if this work were to be done by humans.
A gift of £30 will help to take care of one of our hardy grazing managers for a whole year.
